Household Hazardous Waste Day, Sept. 10 (Saskatoon) 
You can dispose of household hazardous waste (e.g. light bulbs, aerosols, fuels) at the SaskTel Centre from 9 am – 3:30 pm on Sept. 10.

Climate Change Update, Sept. 7 (Saskatoon) 
Peter Prebble, Saskatchewan Environmental Society, will provide an update on the latest climate science and actions the City of Saskatoon could take to cut community-wide greenhouse gas emissions at the Sept. 7 breakfast meeting of the Saskatchewan Energy Management Task Force.

Meet a Burrowing Owl, Sept. 11 (Saskatoon)
Meet Sage, the Saskatoon Zoo Society’s newest burrowing owl, at Wild Birds Unlimited at 1 pm, Sept. 11.

Meewasin Concept Plan Threatened, Sept. 15 (Saskatoon)

Join the Saskatoon Zoo Society in celebrating International Red Panda Day from 10 am to noon, Sept. 17, with activities for kids and information about the Zoo’s Red Panda.

Kisiskatchewan Water Alliance Network Rally, Sept. 18 (Saskatoon) 
The Kisiskatchewan Water Alliance Network is holding a rally and gathering of people concerned about the environmental catastrophe on the North Saskatchewan River at 4:30 pm, Sept. 18.
